The safety of Carnell’s people and the highways community is and always will be one of our highest priorities.
Carnell have a dedicated Health, Safety, Quality and Environment team.
It is company policy that all persons under our control will be aware of the hazards associated with their working environment and that they will have received suitable training to enable them to carry out their work without putting themselves or others at risk.
To uphold our stringent standards of health and safety:
Self auditing
We have a robust internal site safety auditing regime, keenly monitored and analysed by our Safety, Quality and Environment
Manager.
Site Specific Risk Assesments
All sites are subject to a SSRA BEFORE any work is permitted to take place, the results of which are briefed to all affected
personnel BEFORE they start work
Method Statements
We have a comprehensive range of generic Method Statements, covering all aspects of our business. These are supplemented by
site specific Method Statements where conditions dictate.
